⠀3/28/2026: general update

sorry for my absence here - life and all that. the holidays at my job were pretty much hell on earth. the winter has been long and tiring. i recently began to develop sciatic nerve pain; it has made it hard to focus on much of anything.
in better news, i've dove head-first into star trek. i started watching deep space nine a few months ago, and now my focus is almost entirely on the original series. i held off watching tos for a while since i thought it would be a bit boring - how incredibly wrong i was. i've really been enjoying it, especially mister spock. i see a lot of myself in him. and he's quite handsome! i've been very amused looking at old fan stuff concerning him, how enrapturing he was to women who watched it back then. there's a lot of attepmted dissection on this topic (mostly from male fans), so i won't beat a dead horse, but i do think his mental strength is an attractive aspect of him that gets overlooked. this is a topic i could talk in length about, so i'll spare you for now. hopefully i can continue updating here, but don't hold your breath.
